St James' run a Sunday Club throughout the year for the young children of the Church. The School is run by a friendly team of three, Gwynne, Ann and Laura. Our children's ages range from 3-10 years of age. Our children meet in the Church Hall at 10.20 am we then join the rest of the congregation for communion & the final part of the service.
Our children are actively encouraged to learn the meaning behind Bible stories through reading, arts & crafts & play.
Each week, one of our teachers prepare a lesson for our children, which is relevant to the lesson's in church that week. Our teachers will go through the Bible story & explain the meaning to our children. The children will then take part in creative activities based on the story, which is displayed in the Baptistry for the congregation to admire.
The Sunday Club runs each week between September and June, and we warmly welcome all children, including those with no church affiliation, to join us. If you are considering your child attending Sunday Club, please feel free to come along & meet one of our team, who will be more than happy to speak with you.
